My all-time favorite WORSHIP song is Revelation Song. Click on the link to listen to it and read its words.

Why do the words of this song hit so deep in my soul? Here are three reasons:

  1. The message of Holiness—which is important for all Christians! How so you ask? Well, (A) the Scripture tells us that God is holy, (B) that all Believers are called to be holy, and that (C) without holiness no one will see the Lord!
  2. The combination of music's seven elements (Rhythm, Melody, Harmony, Timbre, Dynamics, Texture & Form) — done beautifully. I used to be a music major, so I'm quite familiar with such things!
  3. And as a former music major, I can tell the song was written with the intent to encourage and inspire Believers to worship with their whole heart — NOT just to entertain them with happy lyrics!

Holiness is a topic I rarely hear come across the pulpit these days, yet it is so vital to the growth of every Believer. I'll have more to say on this topic in other articles.

"A rare anthem of holiness in a world of noise."

I pray this song blesses your heart!
