FOUNDATIONAL
What Is “Foundational”?
The articles in this section will LAY A FOUNDATION for all who are, as well as those who might become, Believers.
As someone who pays attention to people, their habits, and tendencies, I’ve watched many people argue AGAINST God and/or Christianity by starting their argument either from the middle of a subject to formulate their argument – kind of like starting one’s journey in math by talking about sine, cosine, and tangent, instead of learning how to count from one to one-hundred – or by starting their argument by borrowing words/phrases/ideas from Christianity. For example, when people say, “IF there is a god, why is there so much evil in the world?” Now, for the curious non-believer, this is an excellent question, as the answer will enable them to identify the necessary topics required to begin to think in this way. But, for the hostile skeptic or atheist, he or she must unknowingly bring God and morality into the equation to ask the question and start their argument. (NOTE: This topic goes deep. So, I won’t go into all of the details here. I wrote this because I want you to understand that the Foundational section will have articles that go into detail on those things that lay a foundation for some of the more challenging areas of Christianity.)
Here is a glimpse of some of the foundational topics I will share with you:
• Who is God? What is God? And what is He like?
• Why the Bible? What is the Bible? Is it important?
• What’s so important about The Name of Jesus?
• What is salvation, and why is it important?
• What do the Scriptures say about Heaven, Hell, Mankind, Angels, and Demons?
• Is Christianity a white man’s religion? Or is it something else?
I look forward to helping you lay a foundation for your journey in Christ!
